A system to monitor energy generation for a residential Solar Photo-Voltaic panel installation.
The system includes an embedded component running on an AT-MEGA chip monitoring the energy produced and consumed with clamp meters, and feeding this data back to a local server over Ethernet
The home server (running Apache, MySQL & PHP) collates the data, and provides instantaneous feedback on energy generation and usage (so the client can see e.g. if there is spare generated power to run the washing machine for free), and graphs of historical data.
The system also integrates with an existing networked weather station, to show temperature readings.
